The UAE and Israel are establishing a joint research and development fund to help tackle global challenges such as climate change and desertification.
The fund, alongside a joint business council, will utilise leading economic and technological minds in both countries to come up with solutions to the most pressing issues facing the world today.
The partnership's been announced following the historic visit to the UAE by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett who conducted talks with HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The two countries issued a statement hailing the visit as another "milestone in the development of warm relations".
