The UAE and Cyprus have expressed their profound condemnation over Israel’s strike on humanitarian aid workers of the World Central Kitchen (WCK).
In a statement on Tuesday, the two countries extended their condolences to the victims' families and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured
They also reiterated that targeting humanitarian aid staff is a flagrant violation of all international treaties that ensure the protection of relief and rescue workers.
The two countries emphasised the urgent need for a collective international approach to address the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, ensuring the immediate, safe, and unhindered delivery of essential aid to prevent exacerbating the health crisis.
They also called for safe, unhindered aid delivery and stressed Israel's responsibility to protect humanitarian workers, underscoring the critical need for essential supplies to safeguard health in the region.
