The UAE has announced 683 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 51,540.
According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 47,000 new coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.
It has also confirmed that two more people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 323.
Meanwhile, 440 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 40,297 in the UAE.
