Police in Sharjah have been extra busy during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
Their central operations room handled more than 23,000 phone calls on the emergency hotline.
Officers took appropriate action based on the nature of each call.
They had also stepped up surveillance on the roads and around busy areas to ease traffic congestion during the holidays.
