Nine sports outlets have been fined in Dubai for not complying with the precautionary measures related to COVID-19.
They were pulled up for violating the physical distancing norms and non-compliance with the face-mask rule.
Warnings were issued to four other sports entities that violated the rules.
The inspections were carried out by teams from Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Economy.
Officials said they have noticed a gradual drop in the number of offences, thanks to their field visits and awareness campaigns.
