The protection and welfare of wildlife are crucial.
That's according to Dr Majid Al Qassimi, Director of Animal Health and Development at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, on the back of new regulations being added to the federal law that governs which organisations can keep, breed and care for certain animals.
Dr Qassimi says it's not just human safety that needs to be considered.
