His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the launch of dedicated programmes to ensure educational continuity in Lebanon.
This initiative aims to assist students affected by recent events, with an initial focus on benefitting 40,000 children.
It will be implemented through the 'Digital School', which is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
The project will utilize digital platforms to provide essential learning resources and training for teachers.
Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Secretary-General of MBRGI, emphasized that this initiative reflects the leadership's dedication to helping Lebanese children who face disruptions in their education.
The project will leverage smart solutions aligned with Lebanon's official curriculum, ensuring students can continue learning despite challenges.
Additionally, the Digital School will work with various partners to support children in displacement centres, offering access to education through offline digital content.
