Parents are being reminded not to seat children below the age of 10 in a car's front seat.
In their latest safety campaign, Abu Dhabi Police said children less than 145cm in height should be seated in the back, and securely buckled up.
Those caught violating this traffic law will face a fine of AED 400.
The authorities also highlighted the need to use child seats for those under the age of four, in order to protect them from any real impact in the event of a crash.
