Dubai will soon have a Sky Garden.
It's one of a number of projects being developed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The project will be a footbridge that will connect many of the city's landmarks along the shoreline of Dubai Creek.
With an iconic and stylish design, it will measure 380 meters in length and 60 meters in height and span an area of 3,422 square meters, and offer panoramic views of old and new Dubai.

It will also feature multi-level lanes for cycling and running, new commercial outlets and naturally shaded areas that encourage outdoor activities.
