Dubai to auction special Expo 2020 number plates

Special number plates bearing the Expo 2020 Dubai logo will be auctioned next Saturday.

In a series of tweets, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said 20 plates coded EXPO will be offered in recognition of Expo 2020 Dubai.

The auction will include 20 plates coded EXPO offered for the first time in recognition of Expo 2020 Dubai, which opens on October 20 next year. Registration for the auction starts on Sunday 22 September pic.twitter.com/sQJHquupEl

Registration for the auction will start on September 22, with bidding kicking-off at 4:30 pm on September 28 at the InterContinental Dubai-Festival City Hotel.

The auction will also feature 100 exclusive car registration plates encompassing three to five digits in H to Z codes.
