The Jebel Ali police station in Dubai recorded an emergency response time of 2 minutes and 47 seconds last year - surpassing the three-minute target.
Its non-emergency response time was also within the target of 15 minutes.
The stats were highlighted during an annual inspection of the station, which was conducted by Major General Jamal Salem Al-Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations.
In 2022, Jebel Ali police station amicably settled cheque cases worth AED 23 million, while there was a drop in traffic accident death and crime rates under its jurisdiction, compared to 2021.
Various administrative initiatives implemented in 2022 also resulted in a 97.4 per cent job happiness index for the station's employees.
