Dubai Police have added Hyundai's Genesis GV80 to their ever-growing fleet of luxury patrol cars.
Brigadier Dr Mohammad Al Razooqi, Director of Transport and Rescue at Dubai Police, said the new addition will enhance the mechanisms of policing work.
He added that the police force is constantly looking to add the most efficient, flexible and latest models of vehicles to its fleet to deal with various situations.
Meanwhile, Bang Sun Jeong, Vice President, Head of Genesis Middle East and Africa Operation, expressed pride in partnering with the police force.
"We hope that the high-tech Genesis GV80 contributes to facilitate Dubai Police's operations and provide various services to the public," added Suliman ALZaben, Director of Genesis UAE.
The GV80 is powered by a standard turbocharged four-cylinder or a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine, reaching 96.56 kmph in 6.4 and 6.0 seconds.
