Dubai Municipality shuts five outlets over COVID-19 violations

A salon, a massage centre and three food outlets have been shut down in Dubai for failing to comply with the COVID-19 regulations.

They include a cafeteria in International City, a restaurant in Al Muraqqabat and another one at the vegetable market in Ras Al Khor.

Meanwhile, 56 commercial establishments have been fined and warnings have been handed to 52 other businesses.

As many as 2,601 outlets have been inspected during the latest round of field visits by officials at Dubai Municipality.

A total of 2,488 businesses were found to be fully compliant with the rules.
