Al Khail station on Dubai Metro's Red Line will now be known as Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has awarded the naming rights for this station to the financial services provider.
Abdul Muhsen Kalbat, CEO of the RTA's Rail Agency, emphasised that such initiatives support national economic growth and align with the government’s vision of fostering private sector involvement in Dubai’s development.
"With millions of commuters relying on the metro daily, this partnership allows us to further support and engage with our customers in a meaningful way. We look forward to working closely with RTA to enhance the passenger experience while strengthening our connection to the community," added Hasan Fardan Al Fardan, CEO at Al Fardan Exchange.
From April through the end of June, the RTA will be updating and renaming station signs both externally and indoors at all metro stations.
The new name will also appear on digital smart systems, the RTA’s public transport apps, and in onboard audio announcements before and at the time of arrival.
Metro riders are advised to take note of these changes, and passengers seeking further details can request assistance from RTA staff at the stations.
