No injuries have been reported after a huge fire broke out on a dhow at Deira Port on Friday evening.
Firefighters from four stations - Port area, Karama, Hamriya and Al Ras - were involved in the operation.
Civil Defence officials told ARN News that the fire broke out around 5:30 pm and was immediately put under control.
They added that the dhow, which was in front of Hayat Regency hotel at Dubai Creek, had tyres and flammable materials stored in it.
