Anwar Gargash has reiterated the UAE’s position on Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa following criticism from Iran over the country’s statement at the United Nations.
In a post on X, Gargash said the UAE’s position is supported by facts and documents and that its approach remains focused on resolving the dispute peacefully.
He said the UAE continues to support either direct bilateral negotiations with Iran or referring the issue to the International Court of Justice.
Gargash added that the UAE would continue to pursue what it regards as its legitimate rights in accordance with international law.
