Abu Dhabi's Yas Mall has reopened after it was evacuated earlier this morning when an alarm went off.
In a tweet, the Abu Dhabi Media Office apologised for the inconvenience, adding that safety of visitors and employees was top priority.
Earlier this morning an alarm went off in Yas Mall and we asked customers and staff to temporarily vacate the premises. The Mall is now open and we apologise for any inconvenience.

Earlier, several shoppers took to social media to report that the mall was being evacuated, with "priority given to pregnant women".
Police had cordoned off parts of Yas Island on Tuesday morning following the incident.
