Abu Dhabi has been ranked the safest city in the world for the sixth year in a row, according to the global data website Numbeo's Safety Index 2022.
The UAE capital tops the list of 459 cities with an overall safety score of 88.14 .
Sharjah is ranked fourth with a score of 85.83 while Dubai (83.7) is eighth on the list.
Doha is in the second spot, and is followed by San Sebastian (Spain), with Taipei, Quebec City, Funchal (Portugal), Zurich and Munich also featuring in the top-10.
The crowd-sourced list ranks 459 cities based on users' feedback on questions related to cost of living, safety, pollution and crime.
