The UAE crushed Singapore by 47 runs in the Asia Cup qualifier in Oman to keep their hopes alive of advancing to the main tournament.
After posting a total of 160 for 8 off the allotted 20 overs, the UAE dismissed their opponents for 113 runs in 18.3 overs.
Opener Muhammad Waseem top-scored for the UAE with 58 (34 balls), while Junaid Siddique (3-14) and Karthik Meiyappan (3-13) took three wickets each.
The UAE currently head the four-team points table but that will change with the winner of the Kuwait - Hong Kong game on Tuesday grabbing the top spot.
Only one out of the four teams will qualify for the Asia Cup, which will be played in the UAE from August 27 to September 11.
The UAE will play their final qualifying game against Hong Kong on Wednesday.
