Top football stars set for Dubai International Sports Conference

A flurry of current and former football stars are set to descend on Atlantis, The Palm on Friday evening for the 19th edition of the Dubai International Sports Conference and the Beyond Globe Soccer Dubai Awards.

A night of glitz and glamour will see more than 1,000 guests gather at the prestigious venue located on Palm Jumeirah, with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo expected to be among the big names in attendance for the 15th awards ceremony.

Representatives from Real Madrid, including Jude Bellingham and Thibaut Courtois, are also set to join the event. Other high-profile guests include Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand.

The conference, held under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, runs alongside the Globe Soccer Dubai Awards.

Since 2010, the awards have celebrated football’s top figures across all levels, while the conference provides a platform for key industry discussions. This year’s theme is 'Talented Football'.

During the evening, 15 prestigious awards will be presented, including Best Men’s Player, Best Women’s Player, Best Men’s and Women’s Clubs, the Maradona Award, and five Career Awards.

The Beyond Globe Soccer Dubai Awards have already captured global attention, with more than 100 million votes cast by fans from over 200 countries and territories, eclipsing the previous record of 70 million.
