Portugal made history by claiming the inaugural UEFA Nations League, beating the Netherlands 1-0 in the final in Porto.
Goncalo Guedes scored the winner in the second-half after he was fed on the edge of the box following a mazy run by Bernardo Silva.
Portugal’s main threat came from midfield as the Dutch defensive pairing of Virgil van Dijk and Matthijs de Ligt largely kept Cristiano Ronaldo quiet.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was the hero as England claimed third place.
He saved, and scored, a penalty in a 6-5 shootout win over Switzerland.
Their play-off match finished goalless after extra-time.
