Newcastle have agreed a deal for Southampton defender Tino Livramento in a deal worth £40 million, as Eddie Howe strengthens his squad ahead of the new Premier League season.
The right back only featured twice for the Saints last season, following an anterior cruciate ligament injury in April last year.
Livramento joins fellow summer signings, Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali and England winger Harvey Barnes on Tyneside as boss Eddie Howe prepares the Magpies for Champions League football.
The 20-year-old was signed by Southampton from Chelsea for a £5 million fee in 2021.
Newcastle begin their Premier League campaign at home to Aston Villa on August 12.
