According to the Dubai Media Office, people of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels walked, wheeled, jogged, and ran in different parts of the city on Friday.
The initiative comes as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2020.
Celebrating the city’s resilient spirit, Dubai Run also partnered with Dubai Cares to join the 'Education Uninterrupted’ fundraising campaign – which is tackling the impact of COVID-19 on the education of children and youth in the UAE.
Donations collected will help provide students from low-income families with the necessary electronic devices to continue their studies from home.
