UEFA Champions League holders Chelsea have reached the FIFA Club World Cup final in their second appearance in the competition.
Thomas Tuchel’s side beat Saudi giants Al Hilal in the semi-finals at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi to set up a showpiece against Brazil's Palmeiras on Saturday, where the Blues will be looking to become the eighth different European winners of the competition and the ninth in a row.
Romelu Lukaku was on the scoresheet as the Londoners won 1-0, while Palmeiras defeated Egyptian opponents Al Ahly 2-0.
The two beaten semi-finalists will meet in the third-place play-off on Saturday at Al Nahyan Stadium.
Al Jazira ended their Fifa Club World Cup campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Mexican side CF Monterrey in the fifth place play-off at the Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
