The UAE’s first Tetrathlon is taking place in Dubai, starting October 14. The sport is a variant of the Olympic Modern Pentathlon, without fencing. So, it comprises the four disciplines of shooting, swimming, riding and running. The first stage of swimming will take place on October 14 at Hamdan Sports Complex with the remaining rounds to be held on October 15 at the Desert Palm Equestrian Centre. Event Director, Vicky Duke spoke to ARN News about the importance of holding the race in the UAE.
