Chelsea can take heart with Mikel’s strike, as meetings between the sides in the last two Champions League campaigns have been decided by away goals. The return leg at Stamford Bridge takes place on 9 March. In last night’s other game, Benfica overcame Zenit St. Petersburg 1-0 thanks to a stoppage-time goal from Jonas. It was Zenit’s first competitive game in 10 weeks following Russia’s winter break.Tonight’s action sees Roma host ten-time champions, Real Madrid, whilst Wolfsburg travel to Gent.
