More than 170 countries and international organisations are going to partake in an international emergency exercise that the UAE will host at the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant.
The exercise is called ConvEX-3 and is being conducted to maximise preparedness and ensure world-class response capabilities.
The simulations will include several emergency scenarios within units of the Barakah Plant, which will demonstrate the various safety measures set in place.
The event is being organised by the International Atomic Energy Agency, while the drill will be implemented under the supervision of the UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
