The UAE humanitarian team in Chad continues to assess the needs of Sudanese refugees and the local community.
A total of 200 food baskets and essential relief items have been distributed in several villages near Amdjarass city.
The support is aimed at boosting the living conditions of the Sudanese people who have sought shelter in neighbouring Chad since conflict broke out in their homeland in April.
It's also meant to help vulnerable groups in Chad.
The Emirati team includes Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and the Office for the Coordination of Foreign Aid.
