The UAE has announced revised timings for government schools on Fridays, effective from January 9.
The change follows a recent update to the nationwide Friday prayer schedule.
Under the new timings, kindergarten students will attend school from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
Cycle One students will follow one of two schedules, either from 7:10 AM to 10:30 AM, or from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
For Cycles Two and Three, boys will attend from 7:10 AM to 10:30 AM, while girls will follow the 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM schedule.
The adjustment comes after Friday prayer time was set nationwide at 12:45 pm, with effect from January 2.
