UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held a phone discussion with Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, over the latest developments in the region.
The two leaders exchanged views on the ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at supporting security, stability and de-escalation across the region.
They also also reviewed cooperation between the UAE and Qatar and explored ways to strengthen ties in support of shared interests.
In a separate call, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Qatar's Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani , Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, also reviewed efforts aimed at achieving sustainable security and stability in the region.
The two ministers also touched upon the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation across various fields.
