UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a written invitation to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to attend the 2026 United Nations (UN) Water Conference.
The UN Water Conference will take place in Abu Dhabi between December 8-10, in partnership with Senegal, with the aim of accelerating the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) to ensure clean water and sanitation for all by 2030.
All 193 UN member states are expected to take part in the conference.
Sheikh Meshal received the letter from Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait, during a meeting held at Bayan Palace in Kuwait.
