Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has received a written message for President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for Angola's leader Joao Manuel Lourenço.
The message, concerning bilateral relations between the two countries, was handed over during a meeting between Sheikh Abdullah and Angola Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Tete Antonio.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations in key sectors like economic and trade, within the framework of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement.
The diplomats also discussed the repercussions of the Iranian attacks on the UAE and other Arab countries, as well as its impact on international maritime security, energy supplies, the global economy, and regional and international peace and security.
The two sides also looked at ways to achieve sustainable stability, peace and security in the region, with special focus on the US-Iran ceasefire as outlined by US President Donald Trump.
