The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
During the meeting at Qasr Al Shati, the two leaders discussed the strong relations between their countries, as well as ways to further strengthen cooperation and enhance mutual interests.
The talks also focused on reinforcing security and stability in the region, emphasising the need for efforts to achieve a ceasefire and de-escalation in the Middle East.
The Qatari Prime Minister, who arrived earlier at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, was received by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
