UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is on a working visit to the country.
During their meeting, the two leaders explored ways to strengthen bilateral ties, with a focus on key sectors including the economy, trade, renewable energy and technology.
They reaffirmed their commitment to expanding development partnerships that promote sustainable economic growth and meet the aspirations of their people.
Discussions also covered regional developments and their impact on security and stability, including implications for maritime security and the global economy.
The two sides addressed recent Iranian attacks targeting civilians and infrastructure in the UAE and elsewhere in the region.
Rama reiterated Albania’s condemnation, describing the attacks as violations of international law that threaten regional stability.
