President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held talks with Prime Minister of Iraq's Kurdistan region, Masrour Barzani, in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the leaders reviewed the close ties between the UAE and Iraq, particularly with the Kurdistan region, and explored ways to strengthen and expand cooperation in key sectors.
The leaders also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest and emphasised the importance of promoting peace and stability in the region.
Barzani, who is the UAE on a working visit, also congratulated the President on the country's 54th Eid Al Etihad.
