The leaders of the UAE have wished for "lasting peace and harmony" on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
In a post on social media platform X, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended Eid greetings to the "citizens and residents of the UAE, and Muslims around the world", praying for "lasting peace and harmony for all".
To my brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates, citizens and residents of the UAE, and Muslims around the world, I wish you a blessed Eid Al-Adha and pray for God to grant lasting peace and harmony to all.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also took to social media to "congratulate the Arab and Islamic nation on a blessed Eid Al Adha", and prayed for continued "blessings, goodness, prosperity and peace".

The UAE President also exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Abdullah II of Jordan during separate calls.
The leaders reciprocated the greetings and collectively prayed for continued blessings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
