The UAE has pledged an additional $1.2 billion in support for Gaza during the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace in Washington.
The announcement was made by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during his participation in the session, chaired by US President Donald Trump.
The meeting brought together heads of state and senior international officials to coordinate efforts aimed at advancing peace, supporting reconstruction and promoting long-term regional stability.
Sheikh Abdullah’s participation, at the start of an official visit to the United States, reflects the strong strategic partnership between the UAE and the US, as well as their shared commitment to strengthening regional security and stability.
