The UAE and the Philippines have discussed ways to take bilateral relations to the next level.
UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on enhancing cooperation in various sectors.
During the meeting in Manila, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the growing ties between the two countries, and expressed his deep appreciation for the role of the Filipino community residing in the UAE.
President Marcos extended his wishes for continued prosperity and well-being to the UAE and its people, emphasising the depth of relations between the two countries, which are marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (on August 19, 1974).
