The UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Pakistan Foreign Minister have discussed the latest developments in the region and ways to protect civilians from the repercussions of the ongoing escalation between Israel and Hamas.
During a phone call with Jalil Abbas Jilani, Sheikh Abdullah also discussed the ongoing efforts to open safe corridors to deliver urgent humanitarian assistance to civilians.
The UAE Minister also underscored the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to protect civilians as a top priority while accelerating de-escalation efforts and ending extremism and escalation of violence.
