The UAE welcomes the adoption of the UN’s 2030 sustainable development agenda, which aims to end poverty and reverse the effects of climate change in 15 years. The Ministry of International Cooperation and Development says all the issues in the agenda resonate strongly with the UAE. According to the Ministry of International Cooperation and Development, the UAE has already supported a number of core areas of the agenda, including infrastructure development, healthcare provision, renewable energy aid and critical humanitarian assistance.
