The UAE's defence forces have intercepted 165 ballistic missiles, 2 cruise missiles, and 541 drones since the start of the Iranian attack, with 3 people killed and 58 injured during the strikes.
In a statement shared on the X platform, the Ministry of Defence clarified that the deaths and injuries were a result of 35 drones falling into the country's territory. The remaining 506 were intercepted and destroyed by the forces.
The ministry also added that of the 165 missiles launched, 152 were destroyed, while 13 fell into the sea, alongside the detection and destruction of 2 cruise missiles during the Iranian attacks.
The ministry pointed out that some debris fell in scattered areas of the country as a result of air defense systems' interception, leading to minor and moderate material damage in several civilian properties.
It also expressed its high alertness and readiness to deal with any threats, affirming that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors remains the top priority.
The ministry urged the public to obtain information from official sources in the country and to avoid circulating rumors or unverified information.
