Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has discussed the implications of Iranian attacks on world economy during talks with Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India's Minister of External Affairs, on Saturday.
The diplomats further noted its impact on regional and international security, global navigation and energy supplies
They also reviewed the latest updates following the two-week US-Iran ceasefire announcement, emphasising the importance of international efforts to establish sustainable peace and security in the region.
The ministers also looked into opportunities to strengthen bilateral strategic relations between the two countries.
Sheikh Abdullah expressed his appreciation for the Indian minister's visit, noting that it reflects the depth of the strategic partnership the two nations share and assured him of the safety of all residents and visitors living in the UAE.
Dr Jaishankar reaffirmed his country's solidarity with the UAE in its measures to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
