His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has held phone calls with a number of foreign ministers to discuss the latest regional developments.
Sheikh Abdullah spoke with Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Minister for Defence Helen McEntee, Portugal’s Minister of State and Foreign Affairs Paulo Rangel, and Costa Rica’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Dr. Arnoldo André Tinoco.
During the calls, the UAE’s top diplomat expressed appreciation for the solidarity shown by their countries, and affirmed that all residents and visitors in the UAE are safe.
The discussions also covered recent regional developments following the announcement by US President Donald Trump of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
The calls underscored the importance of continued international cooperation to achieve sustainable peace and strengthen security and stability in the region.
