The UAE's emergency operations in quake-hit Turkey and Syria have entered the recovery and rehabilitation stage.
According to the country's Joint Operations Command, the "Chivalrous Knight / 2" operation will mobilise food and medical aid through the existing humanitarian air bridge.
The emergency crew, which continues to remain in Syria after the end of the search and rescue operations, will train local teams on how to handle the equipment they've been provided with.
A medical delegation will start rehabilitating Syrian hospitals, while another team will work towards building refugee camps in both countries.
Meanwhile, the work of the field hospital will continue in Turkey's İslahiye and Gaziantep, in addition to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Field Hospital in Reyhanlı district of Hatay Province.
Over two weeks since the deadly quakes struck Syria and Turkey, "Chivalrous Knight / 2" operation rescued 134 people, set up two field hospitals in Turkey, and airlifted 3,772 tonnes of food and medical supplies using 136 flights.
