A new UAE humanitarian aid flight has departed from Al Maktoum International Airport bound for Egypt’s Al Arish city, ahead of the delivery of emergency supplies into the Gaza Strip.
The mission is part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE’s ongoing relief campaign supporting Palestinians affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Officials say the aircraft is carrying 100 tonnes of urgent aid, including medical supplies, nutritional support for children, and Eid clothing for families in need.
The operation is being carried out in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, the International Charity Organisation, and Dar Al Ber Society.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has delivered more than 123,000 tonnes of aid to Gaza since launching in November 2023 under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
UAE officials say the initiative reflects the country’s continued commitment to humanitarian support and relief efforts for communities affected by crises around the world.
