The UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that Wednesday, January 1, 2025, will be a paid holiday for private sector employees to mark the New Year.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources had earlier declared January 1 a day off for federal entities, with work resuming on Thursday, January 2.
