The UAE has condemned the criminal stabbing attack on the outskirts of Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, that killed at least 9 people and injured others.
According to Reuters, a man fatally attacked four adults and five children during the night from Saturday to early Sunday, police said, with a sixth child and adult injured and sent to the hospital for treatment.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed the UAE’s permanent rejection of all forms of violence targeting innocent people and aimed at undermining security and stability.
It also expressed its solidarity with the victim's families, the government and people of Suriname over this criminal act, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured.
