The UAE has strongly condemned all forms of sexual violence, particularly those occurring in conflict zones, at the UN Security Council.
During Tuesday's open debate on conflict-related sexual violence, the UAE emphasised the need to utilise all tools to address the scourge of cases and prevent the illicit flow of arms.
The UAE also called for improved data and reporting on such crimes and arms proliferation, and to implement and develop gender responsive programmes.
The UAE unequivocally condemns all forms of sexual violence, not least of those perpetrated in conflict.
