The Year of Tolerance may be coming to an end but the UAE is taking steps to ensure that its legacy continues beyond 2019.
A new initiative has been approved by the federal cabinet to make sure that tolerance is a key element of all government activities and programmes.
It will have five priority areas that will focus on raising awareness among employees and aligning tolerance with their business policies.
The plan was approved during a cabinet meeting in Abu Dhabi.
