His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Austria’s Chancellor Christian Stocker during a working visit to Vienna.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation under the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
Both sides discussed expanding collaboration across key sectors, including trade, investment, renewable energy, industry, advanced technology, as well as culture, education and tourism.
They also discussed the repercussions of the Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other countries, with Sheikh Abdullah expressing appreciation for Austria’s solidarity with the UAE.
He reaffirmed that UAE–Austria relations are built on long-standing cooperation, trust and mutual respect, and that the UAE is keen to further strengthen partnerships in support of sustainable development and shared prosperity.
